High Pressure Fuel Pump

Hiya

In the above article it mentions the HPFP is an area of weakness and recommends changing them between 40-60k as a precaution.

Mine is just coming upto 38k and due for a service in September, as the part is only £28 is seems like a no brainer, has any done it and what was tha labour costs?

Does that not refer to the cam shaft follower??  :undecided:

£28, for a HPFP is a bit cheap lol!!  :laugh:

Does that only apply to the Golf GTI?

Thanks for the clarification, so its the follower that needs replacing not the pump itself?

Has anyone else had this done and what was the labour charge.
