Wont studs help line the head more aswell?

What is wrong with a bolt to line up the head? I'm sure most manufacturers would make a straight bolt/stud wouldn't they?

With studs already in the block it would be a case of plonk the head on and bolt it up

Using head bolts you have to line the head up perfect (there is some give in the HG), some heads have locators in them but my vr never so was a ball ache to line up, especially when it was just me holding the head and lining it up

Like i said.... dropping a head onto studs is easier. Ive rebuilt my vr myself, skimmed my head myself.... Even learnt myself da inglish init

Bloody hell, I leave you guys for less than 24hours and all hell breaks loose....innit.

Anyhow.  Think ill get the studs.  ONly a few quid more and far better than bolts.  Might aswell make the engine 'future proof'
