Computer Screen Dead !!

evening folks

just driving home tonight and the multi function computer screen in the middle of the dash seems to have died.  Instead of showing time/mileage etc it was showing a single 1 pixel red horizontal line which after a few seconds got smaller and smaller (like a progress bar in reverse).  The screen is now totally blank.  Tried turning ignition on and off when i stopped at the lights but no joy.

any ideas ?

well screen appears to have come back to life today all by itself  .  very strange.

have issues with mine when the weather is warm.... it kinda fades away from the bottom then its fine when its been in the shade for a while... strange one but bet its one of those things i can put up with as bet a new cluster is a bit pricey
