« on: 30 June 2012, 12:47 »
Im a alarm engineer so have collect just shy of 100 batteries of the last few months ready to be cashed in ive weighed them all up roughly and theres about 140 kg of them !

Does anyone know the average price they go for per kg ? Im in southampton so if anyone knows the best prices around here that would also be a huge help

lead = high scrap value.

It goes on weight, take them to scrappy. They will stick it on a set of scales and give you the going rate for lead minus a little bit as plastic etc included.

Got something like £ 8-9 quid for a Range rover battery
