My mate has just got a mk3 1.9td azz so not the tdi. I've read in a few places now about turning the fuel screw up a bit its all ready got a rover boost pin if thats any help lol. So if any one knows some cheating ways to get abit more fun from this let me know

I don't know if it is possible on the Golf (TD is presumably the clockwork pump), but the 306 mod might give you some clues.

2 screws on the pump and (I think) the turbo actuator rod. No remap needed as it is all mechanical.

I think this is where the "no smoke - no poke" saying comes from - check out some Youtube vids with that in the search box. Good gains are there to be had (on the Pug anyway).
