:smiley:   sometimes wonder why i pay £270 tax and £1000 insurance when theres so many speed cameras and bumps, potholes everywhere but makes sense when you get on a nice b road  :grin:
was thinkin this aswell but then im 5 mins from some great roads  :smiley:

I have a fairly heavy foot as in that i never ease off haha, I always go as fast as the car will (exept corners obviously :P)

best ways a diesel i think.. GT TDI :)

I have a 1.8t mk3 and my fuel economy used to be shocking I'd get literally 200 miles from a full tank! But since the last 2 months or so I've been driving much more police friendly and am now getting 350-400 miles to a tank.

How heavy your foot is makes a huge difference! I didn't think it would make half as much difference as it did to mine
