pipercross panel filter

i have a pipercross panel filter and i want to clean it but do not know what is the best way.. i have a dirt retention spray with it.. do i just spray it on and away i go is there a propa way doing it..

im gonna be giving my car a good seeing over before i start dashing out on sorting the body work out   :wink:

You can vac it off - or use an airline to blast it.

I have washed mine before just make sure it is 100% dry  :laugh:

lol yeah was really dirty so just rinsed it in some light soapy water then in clean water  :smiley:

did u still use the spray after cleaning it with either water or vac?

I understood it was best to not use the retention oil on these as it knackers the MAF?  Pipercross being dry and preferable over oiled K&N etc.

when i done mine last week i just banged out most of the dirt against my hand and gave it a vac, job done :smug:
