leather trim from gti 5door to diesel 5door

i have just fitted some leather trim into my tdi130. i got this trim from a 5door gti.
problem i have is the front seat they seem to be very low at the back and high at the front. im guessing they only go in one way. i need to lift the back up to make the seats more square.
would there be any difference in the interior i took out recaro style heated seats and fitted leather heated seats cheers

They should be mounted exactly the same way in both cars.. you sure you have tried all the handles and such to see if you have made it lean back ?

They will have height adjustment but the seats will be the same.
