yes it should fit over the cat. thing is though when the sleave was fitted it butted up against the cat but now yu are going to sleave it over the cat an inch or 2 so the system will move back that little but so will need to have a play around and get it to fit right.

Cheers for the advice, been distracted with other car issues recently and just checking back in here.

The exhuast sytem was a straight fit, my VW specialist seemed to have no problems and it's solid as a rock at the moment.
