Agreed, its the hassle of proving it with all the pictures and rejected offers that pisses me off
Worth having an agreed value policy for cars like this though, clears it up a lot quicker.

I moved 'up the line' from Plymouth about 5 years ago.

We still have sea up here but it smells like seaweed, it's muddy and we have namby pamby tides.

On the good side, not so many potholes and not so many traffic lights either (I used to have to do 23 sets on the commute from Stonehouse to Estover).

Keeping your head clear for sorting the move and paying the deposit on a house has a monetary value. For me, that would outweigh any extra I could get for the car - so I think you did the right thing in the circumstances.

Dont buy it back unless you have cash from the other bloke otherwise Sean you will have a broken car on your drive doing nothing and rusting

Funnily enough I pretty much live in Estover! (Thornbuy) and its 21 sets to the dockyard for me!

Tbh Jay I'd strip the engine mounts, springs, zaust incl mannifold, and a couple of other bits, then weigh it in for scrap. It was a VERY reasonable price that I've already bought it back off them for.
