fuel light and squeaky seat
« on: 12 June 2005, 23:36 »
hi all

i have owned my mk2 16v for around 2 months and love every min of driving it, however a couple of things are bugging me!

1/  When the fuel tank is nearly empty i have run as close to the line on guage as i dare but no fuel light comes on, is there one fitted??

2/ When my passenger front seat is in use, it squeeks over any small bump, any ideas how to cure? Its driving me nuts!

1) no there isn't a fuel warning light.

2) just oil all the joints and hinges, its more likely to be the mounts on the base of the chair squeaking.
