Remap north west ?

Forgive my naivety but if for example you get a "revo" remap does it matter who does it, I mean isnt it software after all so in theory it should be the same wherever you go?
Im based in Preston and looking into a remap theres a company here called http://www.automotivediagnostics.co.uk/ who use revo maps.

One thing I dont understand is (its for a gtd) some claim to give 210bhp and others 201bhp Im a bit confused, who to go with would rather go via a recommended source for peace of mind.

If you want your GTD done contact Carbon; Craig runs a GTD which has been finely tuned on their rolling road    and they have all the equipment to perform the surgery on your ECU as its protected and requires removal in order to remap it
