Multicar policy or 2 separate cheapest?
« on: 20 July 2012, 10:02 »
Hi all,

Looking into insuring 2 cars at the moment as both need a policy - one would be a daily diesel, the other my mk2 for weekends etc. I was wondering what would be the cheapest option in peoples experiences? Multicar policy for both or is it usually better to take out 2 separate policies?

Cars in question will be an ABF'd Mk2 (classic policy maybe?) for around 5k miles a year, the other will be a daily diesel (probably a B5 Passat or B5 A4) for around 10k a year. Not sure whether it's better putting the NCB on the Golf (I'm 23 so high risk I guess even though my license is squeeky clean  :undecided:) or putting it on the actual daily driver?

Just looking for rough insights before I start ringing around and cheers in advance

Hi,

We dont offer multi car policies, but as Classic policies dont usually use no claims bonus we should most probably look to use your no claims on the Passat, then insure the mk2 on a Classic policy.

PM your number if you would like us to give you a bell or call us on 0844 888 4888 and we will see what we can do

Cheers
