what are my options for a mk2 golf 1.6CL?

can i get one of the cone shaped induction kits

Easy to fit, it won't give you a lot though. Save your cash and get a GTI  ;)

i was thinking could i fit a cone shaped one to the cool air intake tube and then take the square type filter out the box and run one like dat?

Could work, but whats the point? if you want a bit extra performance, go to a scrappy and get a 8v gti cam.
