You could do either. There is plenty of wire to reach under the seat.

Just noticed THIS ONE on the Bold-Sport web site.

Works out at less than £100 shipped and includes the cable loom.

I know people have ordered stuff from them before without problems.

*edit* Cancel that, it is the older 9W2 unit

Mine has been faultless. Never fails to connect and I'm told by the person I'm talking to, it sounds as clear as if I'm usinging the handset.

Hey guys, I'm looking to retrofit bluetooth to my new Scirocco. Anyone got any advice for me and anyone in Scotland that can help me out?

Cheers

Right, I've bought the kit (5k0 035 730 E)! Anyone have any info how I can go about using the existing mic my RNS 510 already has connected to it?

Thanks

The existing mic will be part of the wiring loom that goes up to the roof console. You'll never find the other end of the wire to plug it into your new patch loom that came with your bluetooth kit. For the sake of an extra 1/2 an hour to fit the new mic, you may as well do that.
