Having had an incident with a deer at 60+ mph i have had to replace a lot of the front end of my 88 GTI. Im now trying to source a new front bumper to finish the job and tried a pattern part from german and swedish it doesnt even nearly fit and a VW main dealer were far from helpful when i approached them for a new genuine bumper. Ive looked at loads of second hand ones at breakers and the condition of them is poor. So do i go for a big bumper conversion? im not sure if i prefer the small bumpers fitted as standard and do the big bumper kits fit properly before i go out and buy them? comments advice please!!
