springy noise ?

so i went over a hump today and my car suddenly started making springy noises every time i drove over a hump or if the road surface was bumpy, after i parked up and left the car for a good 3 hours its fine again, anyone know what this may be, thanks adz

front, rear? if its a springy noise my bet would be on a cracked spring

doubt it, it doesnt do it anymore, and when it was doing it, it was only when the front end was lifting up :s
