Newbie with a Mk3 Golf Cab!!

Hi there new to the forum, used to have a Ratlook/Patina polo 6n but the gearbox died and couldnt be bothered to fix her!

She looked like this




gearbox went, and for the cost of a low mileage gearbox i found this Mk3 2.0 Avantgaurde Cabriolet Golf

Like this when i picked her up


and after a few mods, Coilovers wheels tinted indicators and the obligatory scene Momo 280 wheel!! lol






plans are to sort the arches tidy her up, good service new roof and use her as my daily,

as my other project still isnt finished!

hey dude, just bought a mk3 cabrio myself. its goin be my daily too while my gti is off the road. i am looking to fit some of the black plastic wheel arches to it. i have bought them from ebay but i cant find how to fit them. do you have any advice? any links or anythin? i know a lot of people prefer to take off the arches but i like them! any help would be apreciated! also,  i noticed your thinkin of gettin a new roof? seen any cheapish ones about because i need one too!!!
