Car Stalling on first turnover

Hi Guys,

I have a 1999 1.8T agu, recently the car will start then stall after about 2 seconds, normally only happens once in the morning but happened 8 or 9 times this morning before going ok. Not sure what this could be any advice would be great.

Only happens in the morning and normally clears fine for rest of day but seems to be getting worst stalled many times this morning.

When fired up in morning seems to start fine but dies after a few seconds, always fires up with no/min turns

Is it actually stalling as in when you put your foot on the clutch or does it just die?

If it dies then it sounds like you may have a fueling problem as its been sits there over night.

no it just stalls on turn over, starts fine revs go to around 1800 then it dies. Some times it does it once but lately its been 3 or 4 times before running fine
