Rubbish man. We had 2 trailies nicked out the garage a few years back. Took them 3 attempts mind you as we kept beefing up the security.

You've not handed any monies over yet I take it?

Not yet, I enjoy the humor

Plus I'm in two minds whether the bike was stolen or whether they sold it to someone else or changed their minds due to the inconclusive story...

Ah well I will never know

No.

Public highway, in charge of a motor vehicle etc...

Pit bikes especially as they are not road legal (unless you can show me otherwise)

You must have MOT and minimum 3rd Party insurance , etc..

BUT, what are the chances of Daz Poliz being there?

Its perfectly legal to push a motorbike on a pavement as long as the engine is off. It doesn't matter about the fact it has no insurance, mot etc.

Only becomes an offense if the engine is on or its left unattended. Just make sure you actually push it and not sit and free wheel it.

This is wrong, in charge of a motor vehicle means anything with a motor, running or not, if you watch all those police programmes on tv you'll see that people do actually get done for it, only way would be to remove the engine, stick it in a box and strap it to the seat, same as if your caught pushing a car or bike while drunk you'll get a drink driving conviction.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good!
