misfire

Hello

Does anyone know why my 16v likes to misfire, cough and splutter sometimes between 1600 rpm and 2000 rpm. It is fun when my car bunnyhops down the road and makes me look like i have just passed my driving test.
Cheers

take the dizzy cap off and make sure the spring loaded centre contact isnt bent outta place

after i had my car steam cleaned the fella doing it dried out the dizzy, but when he put it back on he bent it outta shape and it would miss at certain rpm's

also, give the other contacts a clean and a bit of wd40
