Stone Chips
« on: 02 May 2012, 17:14 »
So, I use my car on the motorway a lot and stone chips to the front of the car is a real pain! The car is reflex silver and in places the stone's have chipped right through and left a black mark. What's the best way of atleast disguising these? The colour match pens?

Cheers,

Haha, the problem is that after reading it I don't think I have the balls to sand my paintwork.  Is there any quicker, less effective methods?

Second link is done by russ who has alot of previous prep and spraying experience in the paint shop, great guide and far better than my one in the detailing facts section which is bordering on antique lol. Mine was purely as a very rough guide to getting the chips and scratches filled and protected from the elements and getting a reasonable finish.
