sachs release bearing

having new clutch and flywheel fitted (both sachs)

im having trouble finding a sachs release bearing, does it have to be sachs or can i use another make?

or does anyone know best place to get a sachs one from?

Don't think you can get a sachs one :huh: VW one or one from ECP/GSF

i've got two..... I got mine from good old ebay, one was sold as sachs, one was sold as gen vw but marked up as sachs. The LUK one seemed badly made and the plastic housing broke so would avoid that from my experience!

Strange.....if it's a new Sachs clutch kit, part number 3000 384 001 it should consist of a pressure plate, drive plate and a release bearing  :smiley:
