whats the best one to run?

want to test my system verses a mates really, shame ive got the i5 and hes got the i7  :cry:

depends on what i5 and what i7  :wink: the new i5's are better than the older i7's.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

brought within a couple of months of each other, i beat him on everything else though lol. as in RAM i have SSD vs oldish HDD, i believe i have a better MB as well, wouldnt mind put the 2 up agaisnt each other and find out whats what

3D Mark 11 is ok, But 3D mark Vantage is better.

3D Mark will only test the 3D performance to RAM, HDD and CPU will have little impact on the scores (software rendering will be affected obviously).
