Off to look at a 2001 Golf 2.0 GTI.
Can anyone give me the spec for one and things I should check when viewing?

dont buy a 2.0 get a 1.8 turbo instead

Yeah get a 1.8T instead or you will regret it....I know I did.
Make sure the waterpump has been done at the same time as the cambelt as is a very common failure due to crappy plastic propeller. Replacement should have a metal propeller.
