has anyone used this to repair head gasket?

i was tempted to give it a go when mine went.. but after reading properly it wasnt as easy to use ( for me) as it looked ..

there is no cheap or easy fix for a head gasket,
this would get you out of trouble provided the coolant was staying in the system an not being blown out.....

its basically like bars leak for radiators........
even then thats not the best cure for the problem.,

I'd be inclined to think of the waterways it would block,i mean what happens to the particles that dont get used, they'll clog up the waterpump an christ knows what else....

IMHO its not worth the hassle

ahh.. well my coolant wasn't staying so id have wasted my time and hope  :sad:

on the upside im not £39.99 down  :laugh: :grin:

ouch...... lol....

only time this could be of use is if the gasket had gone where a water way goes near the casing so it leaks outside instead of into the cylinder..... even then the before mentioned bars leak would fix that for a fiver!!

this sort of product preys on the type of person thats not up to speed with engines or mechanically minded, its also not one ive ever seen in any good retailer.... especially at that price looks like a pull the punters pants down soloution, but i may be wrong.....

oh yes it well and truly went.. all fixed now though for the bargain price of £480  :cry:
worth knowing for the future though..  not that it will ever ever happen to me again of course  :smiley: lol
