Anyone got any hints on replacing the front doors on a 3dr mk3? Do the hinges adjust? or do they only have one position, and in this case do you need to adjust them with shims?
Thanks

If you're gonna replace em, make sure you get new hinge pins from VW as the ones on the door are likely to be worn. It helps to have a mate to hold the door up while you bolt it on, if the door is in good nick it should bolt straight on and fit perfect. Just shut the door very slowly at first to make sure it doesn't catch at the front or rear. You may have to make small adjustments to the lock pin on the B pillar or at the hinges, but with new pins you should be ok
