are 3door window mechs the same as 5door?

above? as i think i need 2 fronts for my project sh!tter and theres a 5door in the scrappers

Think they are, yes.  Have removed one at scrappy for a mate who wanted a couple for the rear of his 5dr, and no comeback yet.

Having said that he hasn't spoken to me in a while.....!

make sure they the same kind of doors because would imagine the one piece window mechanism would be different to the 2 piece window mechanism

I made that mistake    If anyone needs a 2-piece mechanism.....lol

well iv got a 3 door with 2 peice windows, and need 2 front mechs, and there is a 5 door in the scrappy with 2 peice windows so the mech should fit then

Yup those will fit just fine   As said front door mechs are the same between 3-5 doors, the only difference is between the 1 piece and 2 piece front door mechs. 

Rear door mechs are all the same either way.
