i have finally finished my car after 10 months of being off the road...
i am so pleased...it haz taken alot of time and effort to get the thing running any sense,i think due to the engine still running the standard injection system. it is still pinking a little but it isnt run in yet so we'll see after its been rolling roaded.....hopefully it will have twin 45's on it next year just cant afford it at the moment!!!
i didnt have much luck with TSR perfomance though, as i posted a moan before!!! they seem to be willing to sell you anything but dont have any clue about what they are selling. eg my block came from them and first turn of the key.... it knocked like it had done about 500,000miles round a race cuircit!! when told to sort it out they got all funny with me, and told me it wasnt their fault + the cam i bought off them was the shrick 304' cam and they didnt tell me anything about having to spend :
1) ?100 to engineer the head so the cam spun freely
2) ?250 for a set of shrick valve springs the old ones bound up
3) another ?300 to get it rebuilt and set up (cuz im not a bloody mechanic)
be very carefull when trying to go over the top on your engines because it leads to a sh1t load of heartache!!!! and a near split marriage and a massive debt that only bill gates could pay back
the engine isnt the only thing ive done by the way there is far-far too much to list but i will try and put some pic's on the net soon so you all can see it and slag it off till your little hearts are content!!!
