Newbie - hello all from Dukenukem
« on: 16 March 2012, 21:23 »
Just thought i'd kick my posts off with the usual English greetings to all.

Owner of a much loved Mk3 Gti 8v always wanted to get a Delta integral but found out the same people designed the Golf so a lemonade pocket success - no?

My Golf has always behaved like a naughty boy it has never liked being completely 100% perfect and as much as I poured into it , it would always find a way of breaking something else like a child playing in the mud in their Sunday best - ha.

So from alarm failing to DIY bodywork, fault finding, wheel refurbing (don't ask), and easy maintenance I've been through it or at the very least paid for it.

Ive come to the end of my Mk3's adventure and will hope to sell it on with someone looking for a nice mk3 but will also scout the problem pages and offer my own advice were needed to the club.

Otherwise I have lots of spare bits for the Golf and the car itself - hopefully when i find new employment back in Merseyside I'll get myself a nice GTi treat again.

Thanks for now
