firstly wasnt sure were to post so mods feel free to move.


will 215/40/17 be ok on my tt comps? currently i have on 225/45/17



should only be a cm diff shouldnt there? and would make my speedo overread not underread shouldnt it?

40 profile is too small, needs to be 45 really

If you are talking about the width it should be fine. A small stretch  :smiley:

Width i know is fine. was the profile.

i wwnt out and bought them for cheep off a mate thinking the tyres i have on mine were profile 40 before realising they were 45.  :lipsrsealed:


what do youse think. go through all the hassel off selling them then having to save up money to get other tyres? Or stick them on as its only a few mph out. when i looked on a tyre calc it said 1.9mph out when at 60...

Go for it but they will look a little lost.
