Timelapse of sundown
« on: 13 March 2012, 08:55 »
Is here:

https://vimeo.com/38419197

I spent a couple of hours over a few nights figuring out how to shoot the stars effectively with the combination I was using.  Pretty pleased with the end result.  All of these shots were on F9 ISO set to 800 running on AV mode.  Because I wasn't going for 'people' type movement I shot in RAW this time, too so I might have a play with the RAW files and see if I can bring the quality on a touch more.

Have also now learned how to feed in movement around the shot when using timelapse, which adds an awful lot more to timelapse images, without going out and spunking +£500 on a motorised dolly, yet.

Yeah - I noticed them, but haven't had time to investigate yet.

Source images also have them, so I'll test the camera in those light conditions tonight.

Conditions were OK actually.  The cloud coming in sort of adds something to it, although it would have been nice to have another couple of hours of stars.

I started at 4 second intervals and then it got pushed out as the exposures got longer, so there was generally a second between one exposure finishing and the next starting, so they were spaced at 31 second intervals, with 30 second exposures.
