T304e turbo kit 1.8T

Got chance of a T3/T4 turbo .50AR which is externally wastegated with a cast manifold.  Theres a external wastegate there and loads of oil pipes and silicone and alloy bends etc.  After £250 for the whole kit which ill get if its any good .

Any pointers/information about the kit?
Are the external wastegates any good and is it better than running a actuated turbo?

Of course!  This one wont be done by halfs put it that way!

Might make 2.  mk4 1.8T and a mk2 1.8T.  Stripped out mk2 for the fun factor.
