Low price Mk5 spotted

Spotted this for £4,450. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/golf-gti-turbo-200bhp/98372993#gallery-item-full-2

Price is very low so not sure if there's something grim lurking under the bonnet, so to speak.

Think I'll take a look anyway.

Any thoughts?

For that price I would expect some poor bodywork, eg damaged repaired & it was not recorded

Or an angy wife/girlfriend selling the car cheap to peee off their partners

Something doesn't add up there. Although it has over 70k miles on the clock, which is quite a bit of a battering for a petrol & wear & tear is bound to have set in. Still looks in good nick, would have to inspect it though as pics can be deceiving.

Or maybe it's just a genuinely fantastic price!
