mk2vr6 has mega amounts of info and everyone is more than happy to help.
A VR6 Rado subframe bolts straight up, absolutely no modification required. In order to be able to close the bonnet you need to cut the rear engine mount down by 25mm - 30mm. Use original mk2 driveshafts if they are 100mm, wishbones, ball joints, steering rack and track rod ends. You will need to upgrade to 280mm discs so use G60 hubs and carriers. This means you can retain 4 x 100 wheels.
If you want to use 5 stud mk3 wheels then you can use all the mk3 stuff (wide track) but I think the subframe engine mount needs modifying slightly.
Remember to dent your chassis leg with a sledge hammer otherwise the crank pulley will rub on left hand corners.
You will also need:
Corrado Hydro pedalbox, clutch lines and slave. Firewall is beaten flat and hole drilled for clutch master (mk3 hydro pedal box is a pain to fit but can be done)
Mk2 clocks can be converted to run with Coilpack engine (Mk3 clocks have to be used if you use a dizzy vr6 engine)
Mk3 vr6 tank, pump, lines 7 loom if your mk2 is not a Gti. (If mk2 is a GTI then use existing fuel setup)
Engine bay loom & engine loom
Vr6 engine, ecu, gearbox & cable shifter
Corrado vr6 Rad and fans (slimline are ideal)
Budget for timing chains and head gasket & bolts (£200) unless engine has history of these being done. Chains are noisey at 100k if the engine has not been looked after. Allow for plastic coolant parts to be replaced.
