mk2 scirocco clocks in a golf

my mfa display is cracked and my rev counter is not working. so im hunting around for new clocks, saw on ebay, scirocco clocks and liked the look of them.

will they fit my '91 8v?

90 spec golf will be having the single plug clocks, so single plug scirocco ones would be a straight swap.

Luckily I have this months practical Classic mag to hand which has a Mk2 Scirocco buying guide.   :grin:

GTX was last 8v/16v spec.

I would just ask if they deffo have the single plug, just to be sure the seller knows what he's on about.

Didnt have the single plug in the end :sad:
Im not really sure if i do need i new set of clocks, the rev counter isnt working but, upon inspection i noticed my earth strap has snapped if i replace this will this sort out my rev counter?

Also, my MFA display doesnt work, no reading at all and is bleeding.  This was my main reason on reason that i decided to get some replacement clocks...unless you can simply replace this screen?

Im still learning! So apologise if i sound daft lol

And yes you can replace the MFA unit.
