proper cabbage moment. who wants a laugh
« on: 27 February 2012, 13:40 »
Went to a motor parts supplier for a coolant temperature sensor the other day told them what i want and the guy behind the counter said which one there's two to which i replied im not sure ill have a look. So... I popped the bonnet found the sensor and proceeded to unplug it.

10 points if you can see where this is going.

Went abit auto pilot pulled it without think and, yes you guessed it, a 2ft fountain of boiling coolant going up my arm, hitting the bonnet, soaking everything in the engine bay and pissing down the road. Good stuff eh.

Thanks for the coolant temperature sensor suggestion khare it was that its sorted my problem with the mpg im know getting even more than what i was originally getting. Perfect running mk3 on the road again

I've never done that but I've done the "oh that looks like big lip on my front brake discs" after a long drive then proceeded to run my finger over them..........
