Thanks JV,

Well i got the car from a garage in Cheltenham on the 3.9.11 it had 120,000 on the clock and i payed 1200 for it, had lots of fun driving it home as we got lost bringing it back.

Put it this way i fell in love with it, but also noticed some little problems with it that have to be sorted before i do any serious mods.

The first thing on my agenda was a dam good clean as it was stinking inside and out,  and didn't have a radio, so that went in as soon as i got home, as well as a wash and hoover.

Well the car has been parked up for the week as i do a breakdown rota with work so drive a van for the week. So it's given me a chance for me to save as the first thing is to timing belt done and to have it read for fault codes, as it has cut out on me twice , wasnt best impressed!

Soon to come is coilovers hopefully next week, but here are some pics for now, more to come......

Well i have been so busy with the car and work i just havnt had time to get on here to update this. So i think its time i got my bum into gear and did it.

Well december was busy got a lot done with the car moding wise and repaire's, well i will do a list and then photos, so here we go,

The repaires:

n/s fromt door lock modual
o/s sunvisor and light in the head lining
rear cup holder
rear ash tray
n/s mirror glass
repaired headlight washer jets
striped down and changed over door card trim on n/s
parcel shelf ropes
boot handle

now for the mods:

center arm rest
pillar pod and boost gauge
bora vents and wiring loom
w8 light and wiring loom
passat wing mirror switch and door handle
sharran rear badge
fk front arb and bushes
fk 5mm front wheel spacers
forum no plate surrounds
bonnet bra
wind deflectors
tax disc holder
removed exhaust center section (home made)
front aro wipers and arms
de-badged front grill
sunglasses holder
uprated headlight bulbs (which were free  and they werent on a five finger discount lol)
rear fog light mod

I know i said that this was all done in december but some of it did run into january, as there was quite a bit done i think....
Now some pics......

After fitting the front arb i have been having problems with it rubbing the drive shaft, as i see that meny ohter people have had this aswell, so i removed the adjustable droplinks and have cut them down to suit and there is a much bigger gap now and no rubbing, it was also catching the track rod end and is clear of that aswell now, very happy with the result.

The next pic is with the wheel on full lock to the right, and use to rub as you can see the marks on the drive shaft, but there is a nice gap now....

I have also had my air-con serviced and it actually works now lol, my new bora sports clocks fitted, and i have changed the driver side front engine mount before it feel out

Hope for more to happen soon, and will try to keep updated more regular....
