Yh fairly easy,  I just followed the guide, the only ball ache was trying to reach/ work on the wires that went into the door.

Do you mean the immobilser chip in the key Or a separate fob?

Yh followed the guide but there's about three or four comments saying that the guide was wrong, the saying it was right, which confused me a bit lol. Easy fix tho just swapped two wires round

Ah right, is it a touch it on a pad before you start the car joby? (this is what my current car has) is so then I'm not sure. You would most probably have to have it separate. But I can't see how the kit would effect the immobiliser as the only wire really needed to be used is two wires for the door locks, two wires to the indicators and two or three wires to the fuse box for power.

If you was daring enough to take apart the separate fob then you could probably find a way of fitting it into the mk4 style key ( that would be cool )
