Sorry Deano, but i have to disagree about the red stripe, my Anni's got them on the sides as well and it just sets it apart from your regular GTI.

yeah i agree leroy i think the red stripe looks nice

not sure why the car sits so high at the front its lowered all round. coilovers are on the to do list anyway

I'm not knocking your car in any way Bud and I am a firm believer that if you are happy with your car that's all that matters. It was just my opinion but I always thought the Anni did not come with the red stripe down the doors but in fact just in the bumpers.....maybe someone else could confirm or dismiss this. Nice clean looking Anni though Mate and I always like to see them with a loving owner

Just to confirm just seen the brochure upload of BoneyBradleys and the Anni did not have the strip down the doors

yeah i know bud  yeah they didnt come with the stripe down the side the last owner did it but i like it, looks a bit different

Deano is right, Anni's don't have the red stripe down the sides from standard, but isn't it funny that every anni you see has the stripes all round? I wonder if most owners have put them on themselves or dealers thought they looked better and did them? maybe they only had bumper stripes in europe and they put them on for the uk market as they came off the boat? Anyone i'm going off on one here, but it seems a bit odd to me.
