car not working

gave up on the clutch as i was getting to wet and cold and i bolt was not playing ball

staeted the car fine went round the block fine come back air bag light was on. stopped the car went to start it agane would not start so put it on charge
and left it. car charged was on my way to macro and the wipers went realy slow and lights were dim so i turned every thing off went to over take a bus and it cut out and would not start agane.
got jump start off a of a kind man car ran for 30 sec then cut out and would not start agane
i have had no wires off and all connecters look ok

check main earth to gearbox and connections to alternator could have knocked one without knowing mate

If not an earth, check the battery itself?
