New mk2 need some advice/help

Just bought myself a mk2 gti and when I picked it up it was starting, needed a pump with the throttle (had been sat for 8 months SORN) but now it doesnt start at all, there is no noise from the pump, the one that seems to be behind the drivers seat.

I knew it needed a good service but this I believe from reading on here may be a relay....where can I get one!?

something like that^. Locate the old relay in the fuse board (drivers footwell) and see that you get the correct replacement. this is from 'German Sweedish French', who do lots of bits, check out their seperate web site too. Euro car parts is another possible web page. 

There will be manuals and guides in the mk2 maintinance section of this site to give you relay numbers, the search function is great for finding old posts about the same thing too. A haynes manual will have relay numbers too, worth getting a copy now you have a mk2 as lots of things arerelativeley simple to fix!
