How easy to colour code standard valance?

How easy is it to remove standard valances anda spray them to colour code. Got a black car so is it even worth it more importantly?

Is this to make yourself feel better for not running the smooth bumper with Anni valance

It is easy mate. Get it off. Sand with various grade of wet and dry. Start with 800 grade then use 1200 then finish off with 2000. Get some PLASTIC primer. 4-5 coats of primer then sand again till your happy with the smoothness. Apply 4-5 coats of your desired colour building up the layers gradually. 15 mins after the final do your first coat of lacquer then apply 4-5 more coats after that. Be careful when applying the lacquer less is best with it as too much will create runs and ruin all the previous work.

+1... Remember to warm the paint up before hand to room temperature. I usually put mine in a pan of warm water for about 10 mins before hand. Then shake it like a polaroid picture... shake it, shake it 

And be careful not to use the laquer/paint as its coming to the end of the can as it starts spitting blotches when its running out

Yup I do the same. A jug of hot water for 10 mins then shake it for 5. Mixes all the paint up properly.
