brake warning light how to turn off

basically disconnected battery as i was doing some welding on my golf turbo put it back together and started it now the yellow brake warning light doesnt go out and says check brake pads now everything is new is there any way to turn it off ie vagcom or can i pull the bulb from behind it??thank ya :)
another thing how do i start a project thread lol i cant seem to find the start thread button on here >??

Code it out with vagcom or bridge a wire between the 2 connections on the plug.  Im fairly sure (not 100%) that is the way to do it if you cant code it out.   Its a useless feature IMHO as 1/2 the pad is still there!

ok guys cheers can i just remove the bulbs from the back of clusters ??cause am not 100percent sure which sensor it is or are they on all four brakes

Its only on front passenger for the wear.

Removing bulb will probably cause more issues.
