Thanks...I was thinking the same figure tbh but what i think I might do is buy some gens from the dealer if I don't find any between now and march...at least then are get warranty/guarantee and are know for def there be gen....thanks

They are definitely genuine but could be around 5 years old   

This is the back of one of my old (genuine) Mk V GTi 18" Monzas (March 2006 model)



If they've all been fully refurbed, and done well, with no other marks, I agree they're worth around £500, or perhaps a littlle more if they were just what you're looking for     

My wheels did'nt need the expensive metal valve btw
