Just bought myself a GTI.
Ended up back where I started! My first car when I was 17 was a MK4 Golf 1.4 E
Seen here;

And my new GTI 1.8T

Nice big intercooler on it already! No need for me to buy one.

The boost gauge would look good there if it was Blue and Red doesnt it get in the way of your trip meter etc

Yep, it does get in the way. It came with the car like that though, I'm going to move it to the A pillar I think.
