Thanks for the advice guys, 2 Goodyears tyres fitted today. They only pumped them up to 32 psi, so put them unto 38 psi as VW say, so hopefully they will be a lot better.

Just need to give the alloys a good polish to hopefully get the small scratches they left on the wheels from getting the tyres of and on. Not to bad so hoping a good polish will do. Probably does not help that I was viewing them under LED light so always look worse.

Anyone recommend a good way of getting slight scratches out?

Yeah! Take them back to the tyre place and tell them you want 2 new wheels! They shouldn't have scratched them in the first place! :angry: :angry: Did VW scratch them when they fitted the originals????
