forgot what hybrid turbo it is but i got in touch with the ppl that made it and they sed its good for atleast 240bhp. i did look into injectors but didnt want to fork out any more money if a remap would give me atleast 10 or 20bhp more.
dont want to spend much more on the mk4 as iv got a mk1 cabby that im putting a 1.8 turbo engine in.
yes the egr has been removed so has alot of other stuff so car is quite light lol, the last remap was a costom one by some chap in cannock, not had a boost guage on the car in ages but last time i looked i think it was boostin 28psi ill have to hook it back up and check.

iv emailed r-tech to see if they can do my dads n have a look at mine,

Hybrids boost to 28-30psi all day long, even a stock 150pd will peak to 28psi without issues.  Peak boost is peak torque and substained boost make up the BHP numbers.  25psi-27bhp held will make up around 210-220bhp but boos on its own wont make bhp you need to add fuel to make the power.

If your running a basic map for 190-200bhp then the upper limits of the fuel injection map will be limiter to around 200bhp, the torque limter map or the fuel based on MAF could limit power, even if you want from 24psi to 32psi you will not get any more power as the engine is not getting an increasing amout of fuel.

yeah my old turbo used to peek at 28 n settle at 24,when i was after a hybrid turbo it was a right pain to get one cuz not alot of ppl wanted them for 150tdi 6 years ago n it cost me £1150  im sure this one stops at 28 since i put all new pipework on it and exhaust, n 3rd remap lol but like i sed the chap who done it done my dads old 150bhp seat and that didnt seem any quicker. so u recon i need injectors? . if so any idea what type and where from ?
