Door closing trouble

So the back door on the Missus car doesn't close, as in wen you shut it it bounces back open so it doesn't catch.
I found a way to get it to close, gotta keep the handle out (like wen you open it) and release it wen the door is fully slammed shut......
Is it an easy fix as I gotta remove the door card anyway to sort the window n modulator out.
Also, happy new year to you all

more likely jamed in closed possition because it would open after you let go of the handle if it was stuck in the open position surely.
also wtf has happend to the sick smiley...

cheers for the replys, i know its not jammed cos when i have the door open and try the latch it works just doesnt hold unless you have the handle pulled out as you push the latch to the final position......
will have it all apart soon to resolder all the moduals so will see if that helps

Having similar trouble with my door, back door to, where my little un sits.
Some days it won't open at all, but others it will, then I really have to slam it to get it to shut, pain in the ass.
