My rear boot handle on my mk4 is in bad shape as in rust bubbling on it I belive it to be pretty common on mk4s?Anyway I have bought a new one which is the same colour and in far better condition to replace it.I unscrewed it all yesterday from the inside but could not seem to get the old key barrell out pretty much sezied in there.Is there a certian way to get it out as my plan is to bin the key barrell and get my painter to just blank it off on the new handle but just dont want to end up damaging the other parts to the lock.The other problem ive got now is when I start and drive off in my car my doors all lock automatically which is fine but the rear pasanger door lock pops back up when all the others are locked.When I park the car and lock it with the fob again all the doors lock but the rear passanger pops back up so its open I then have to press the lock button again and it then locks.Do I need a new lock or is it a simple fix thanks.
